These Terms of Use govern access to Site Control Occupancy, a QR-based area movement and occupancy system. Site Control Occupancy is operated by Kota Miyazaki under the name Miyazaki Industry. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Section 1

Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Site User profile, scanning a QR code, recording a movement, or otherwise using Site Control Occupancy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you also confirm that you are allowed to do so.

Section 2

Purpose of the Service

Site Control Occupancy is provided to record area movements and to help authorized administrators understand current occupancy at a facility, construction site, or similar workplace. It is an operational support tool. It is not a substitute for on-site supervision, physical safety procedures, or emergency plans.

Section 3

User Responsibilities

You must provide information that is as accurate as reasonably possible, including:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Mobile Number

You should scan the correct QR code when you move, and you should not allow another person to use your remembered browser profile as if they were you.

Section 4

Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Impersonating another person
  • Intentionally registering false information
  • Selecting another person's account during Account Recovery
  • Misusing QR Codes
  • Manipulating movement records
  • Attempting unauthorized access
  • Interfering with system operation
  • Attempting to bypass security controls

Section 5

QR Code Usage

QR codes are intended to be used at the location and in the movement direction they describe. Scan a code when you are making that movement. Do not copy, alter, redistribute, or otherwise misuse QR codes in a way that creates false occupancy or movement records.

Section 6

Account / Identity Recovery

If this browser does not remember you, you may search for an existing profile. Candidate lists show limited information, including a masked Mobile Number. You must not deliberately select another person's profile. Doing so may cause incorrect occupancy records and may be treated as impersonation.

Section 7

System Availability

The service depends on internet connectivity, browsers, servers, and third-party infrastructure. Access may be interrupted by network problems, server issues, maintenance, configuration changes, or other events outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Section 8

Accuracy of Occupancy Information

Current occupancy is based on QR scans and user actions. It may not always match the number of people physically present. People may forget to scan, scan the wrong code, share a device, lose browser identification, or be affected by delays or errors.

In an emergency, do not treat this system as the only source of safety information or the only way to know who is on site. Follow the site's emergency procedures, physical headcounts, and instructions from authorized personnel.

Section 9

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the service.

Section 10

Advertising

Public pages, including QR scan screens, may display third-party advertisements, such as Google AdSense when that feature is enabled. Advertisement content is provided by the advertising provider or its advertisers, not by the occupancy system itself.

Advertising is separate from movement registration. Where a region requires a separate advertising or cookie consent, that consent is not the same as agreeing to these Terms or the Privacy Policy. Declining advertising consent, where that choice is offered, must not be used to block QR scan, identification, Confirm Move, or movement registration.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kota Miyazaki, operating Site Control Occupancy under the name Miyazaki Industry, is not liable for loss or damage arising from service interruptions, maintenance, internet or device failures, incorrect or incomplete user input, missed or duplicate QR scans, occupancy figures that do not match physical headcount, unauthorized use of a remembered browser profile, or reliance on the service as the sole basis for a safety or emergency decision.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If a limitation is not enforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the extent permitted.

Section 12

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version number and effective date are shown at the top of this page. If the current Terms version is newer than the version you last accepted, the service may ask you to review the updated Terms and agree again before you continue.

Section 13
